AI Augmentation

The use of artificial intelligence to enhance human capabilities and decision-making rather than replacing human workers entirely.

Explanation

AI augmentation, also known as augmented intelligence, focuses on the collaborative relationship between humans and AI. Unlike automation, which aims to perform tasks without human intervention, augmentation uses machine learning and data processing to provide insights, automate repetitive sub-tasks, and offer recommendations that help humans perform their jobs more effectively, creatively, and accurately. It is widely used in fields like medicine for diagnostics, finance for risk assessment, and customer service for sentiment analysis.
