Artificial Intelligence

The simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems.

Explanation

Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the development of computer systems capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. These tasks include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using it), reasoning (using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions), problem-solving, perception, and language understanding. AI can be categorized into Narrow AI, designed for specific tasks like facial recognition or internet searches, and General AI, which would possess the ability to perform any intellectual task a human can do. Modern AI often relies on machine learning and deep learning techniques to analyze vast amounts of data and identify patterns.
